Creating from scrap

From the home workshop scrap metal is sorted and stored. The main source of material is industrial waste from large-scale production facilities.  The concept driving most of these objects is upcycling: reusing discarded objects in a way that results in an object of higher quality and value than the original. Within 5 years Geert managed to make a living based on scrap: what are the economics?

Geert’s aim is to create unexpected, unconventional three dimensional shapes with a low environmental impact and show the beauty that can be found in what was regarded as waste.
