About the opponents: 

Catarina von Matern is an interior architect and certified expert in accessibility.  She has a German journeyman’s certificate in furniture carpentry. As an interior designer and furniture designer, she has collaborated with several furniture manufacturers in the Swedish and international furniture industry for the production of new products.

Annika Enqvist is a curator working with aesthetic theory, craft, design, and socially engaged architecture and urban issues as well as public art in extended field. She is a co-founder of the craft collective S L A M together with Moa Lönn, Henny Linn Kjellberg and Karin Auran Frankenstein (2017– ). In 2018 S L A M curated the exhibition Beyond the Object – Contemporary Nordic Ceramic Art at Uppsala Konstmuseum and they are art directing and hosting the residency programme Fieldstation at Ifö Center in Bromölla (2019–). www.slamworks.se

She is currently working at Public Art Agency Sweden as Head of Public Programmes (2018– ). She curated the Design and Crafts Programme and Residency at Iaspis (2010–18); co-edited Work, Work, Work a Reader on Art and Labour, Sternberg, and curated Decolonizing Architecture Rehab Camp-11.
