Albert Paley

Albert Paley is a long-standing international leader in the metal/sculptor arena where he is widely recognised for developing blacksmithing into the context of public art and commissioning. Based in Rochester, New York, he has been active as an artist for over 30 years. 

Thomas Martinsson

Thomas Martinsson is deputy mayor in the city of Gothenburg and chairman in the Gothenburg Cultural Board since January 2011. His areas of responsability in the red-green political coalition are culture, intercultural dialogue, gender equality, disabilities-,LGBTQ- and human rights-issues. Since 2002 'stand in' and later regular member of the City Council of Gothenburg.  His civil career is being secondary teacher in social sciences and history, with a teachers degree from University of Karlstad 1995.

Joanna Sandell

Joanna Sandell is a writer and curator based in Stockholm, Sweden, she has a background in civic journalism. In 2006 she became the director of Botkyrka konsthall and has since developed the program to include the artist’s book publishing house Labyrint Press (an art project developed together with artist Pia Sandström) and the residency program Residence Botkyrka – an international residency program for public art and social practice.
