Professor ställer ut på Sthlm Furnture Fair

På årets möbelmässa i Stockholm presenterar designföretaget Nola tre utemöbler formgivna av Mats Aldén, professor vid Möbeldesign inriktning Trä.
The designs belonging to the Sunset furniture suite signal a new direction for outdoor furniture. The pieces are contemporary in style, yet created with wooden surfaces that honour the craft traditions that characterise Scandinavian wood furniture. The suite comprises an armchair, a deep-seat lounger and round table crafted with a slated ipé hardwood surface inspired by rays of sunlight. The frames are made in zinc-plated powdercoated steel, making the chairs lightweight to move and stack. The suite is designed with outdoor relaxation in mind, providing the perfect furniture for enjoying the sunset.
