Personal statement
I believe in and strive for excellence.
To achieve truth and beauty, through a finely tuned system of teaching, one needs skills. However, the greatest and most vital ingredient that is required to achieve this truth is love. Which brings me to say, ”when love and skill work together, expect a miracle”.

The equilibrium that I maintain within my daily pursuit for excellence is largely due to these two elements - Love and Skills.

The research process ”to find out” is what will give the confidence to display the end result. If one has evolved a way of working through a process of explorative navigation - what one meets on the way is as instrumental in the final achievement as the final object.

Within all of my work. not one project or engagement has ever existed in isolation. The relationship between each may not be evident, but the flow and eventual result is related to one main factor. Research.

I have used fur and leather in all aspects of my work during my working Iife as a natural ”fabric”, My aim is to use every millimetre and not waste even one hair. In respect for the animal and as a form of thanks and gratitude, I have been investigating through my research a way to immortalise the fur forever. To do this I learned how to enamel, and using porcelain to trap the fur. I have succeeded in making Enamel Fur”.

All that is left for me to do now is to make an ”Enamel Fur Coat”, for the Empress to wear for thousands of years from now.
In this way, I have honoured the animal in my way. I WILL make an enamel fur coat like a full body jewel!
